Michael L. Prifti FAIA Principal
Michael L. Prifti FAIA received both degrees from the University of Pennsylvania including his Bachelor of Arts in 1976 and Master of Architecture in 1979. In the challenging dual role as Project Principal and Managing Principal Mr. Prifti successfully balances responsibilities of great proportion. As Managing Principal, he guides all business practices including administrative, legal, financial and human resources; and shapes development of the firm’s information systems, CAD capabilities, office-wide administrative systems and Internet capabilities.
Eric M. Rahe AIA Principal
Eric M. Rahe AIA acquired a Bachelor of Environmental Design in 1980 from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio. In leading his team’s efforts, particularly in the early stages of a project, Mr. Rahe helps clients establish design direction, a workable budget and appropriate scheduling to achieve their goals. Throughout the process, Mr. Rahe works closely with the project manager to ensure delivery of an adequate commitment of resources and effective decision making on creative applications, technical and administrative matters.
Victor C. Antes AIA Principal
As a Director of Interior Design, Victor C. Antes AIA obtained both his Bachelor of Arts in 1969 and Master of Architecture in 1972 from the University of Pennsylvania. Mr. Antes is frequently called upon as an expert in his field to evaluate how clients can maximize existing space or create new space that is as much a reflection of style as it is functionality. His projects span historic structures that require sensitivity in their fit-out, as well as contemporary cutting-edge buildings, and his work is characterized by innovative approaches to functional and architectural challenges. Mr. Antes has worked within strict budget and scheduling parameters, producing finished projects that are both engaging and enduring.
Roderick H. Wolfson AIA LEED® Principal
Roderick H. Wolfson AIA LEED® graduated from Trinity College with a Bachelor of Architecture, Phi Beta Kappa in 1980 and University of Pennsylvania with his Master of Architecture in 1983. He is skilled at leading process-oriented design which is effective in orchestrating the involvement of the many parties that contribute to a public design project and with institutional clients, who typically have large building committees that are answerable to numerous constituencies.
Michael R. Ytterberg PhD AIA Principal
Michael R. Ytterberg PhD AIA received his Bachelor and Master of Architecture from Rice University in 1975 and 1980 respectively, and his PhD in Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania in 2005. His early studies in human movement and space design at the Jacques Lecoq School in Paris, France brings an unusual and special understanding in creating human centered environments large and small. His “scholarly knowledge” of traditional building design in the theory of Classical Design further augments his project expertise. As a PhD from the University of Pennsylvania in the history, theory, and criticism of architecture, he completed a study of environmental experience in ancient contexts which decisively influenced how we still react to the built world.
Stanley Tang AIA Principal
Stanley Tang AIA received
both degrees from the University of Pennsylvania including his Bachelor
of Arts in 1974 and Master of Architecture in 1977. Stanley is called upon for his well thought out approaches to problem solving, and to act as crucial liaison between clients, consultants, construction managers, and contractors. His oversight, direction, and critical involvement with complex project parameters, technical challenges, and assistance helping administrators and facilities managers with code and regulatory requirements, is instrumental in assuring overall project success.
William J. Waffle AIA Principal
William J. Waffle AIA received his Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Michigan. He provides leadership in the area of architectural technology project delivery methodology and construction for all of the architectural and interiors projects in the office. In addition, as Director of Architectural Technology, William directs the Quality Initiative effort of the firm which includes project and document reviews, and establishment of Master Details for selected assemblies commonly used in our projects.
John A. Bower, Jr. FAIA Founding Member
In 1953, John A. Bower, Jr.
FAIA graduated with honors from the University of Pennsylvania, receiving
a Bachelor of Architecture degree. In varying capacities, his design reach can be felt throughout the country. Mr.
Bower’s work is consistently characterized by clarity and directness,
and for its enrichment of the overall urban experience.
John E. Thrower AIA Member
A University of Pennsylvania
graduate, John E. Thrower AIA earned both his Bachelor and Master of Architecture
with honors from the University in 1964 and 1965 respectively. Mr.
Thrower has been a leader in master planning and design of a variety of significant urban
and suburban projects.
Arthur W. Jones AIA Member Emeritus
Arthur W. Jones AIA, Member Emeritus obtained his Master of Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania in 1962 after attending Harvard University for his Bachelor of Architecture in 1955. He is known throughout the Philadelphia region for his expertise and understanding of historic preservation. As a specialist, Mr. Jones is called upon frequently by the community and his peers to share insight into how landmark buildings of yesterday can be adapted and transformed into workable, functioning buildings for the needs of today.
